Delicious Vegan Cornbread

It's Gluten Free!

This recipe is incredibly simple to make, and no one will know it's vegan OR gluten free.  We promise!

 

1 1/4 cup cornmeal

3/4 cup Sweet White Rice gf flour

1/4 cup, plus 1 tsp sugar

1 1/4 cups plant milk (soy or almond)

1/2 cup MELTED vegan butter

1 TBSP baking powder

1 tsp egg replacer

1 tsp salt

Combine the dry ingredients in a bowl. Set aside. Combine plant milk and melted butter, then mix into the dry ingredients. Mix until well combined, but don’t over mix.  Prep a square 9x9 baking pan with a little vegan butter or canola spray.  Bake at 400 degrees for 19 minutes.

Please make sure to preheat the oven.

Once removed from the oven, smear with vegan butter.
